This site is hand-written HTML, one small stylesheet, and no JavaScript. It is hosted on a small VPS that I rent for the price of a cup of coffee a month. The server runs the latest stable Ubuntu and serves files via Caddy.

Typography

Body text is set in the system stack so it falls back to whatever native sans-serif your operating system prefers. Headings use a slightly heavier weight. Code samples (where they appear) use the system monospace stack.

Colour

The single accent colour is a muted teal that holds up reasonably well in both light and dark mode (this site adapts to your prefers-color-scheme setting).

Hosting

Caddy in front of a tiny static site. TLS is provided by Let's Encrypt, renewed automatically. No CDN, no edge caching, no third-party fonts.
